I definitely made a reference to Cooper Nielsen the other day, to a room full of blank faces. I would definitely have chalked myself up to making a shameful reference from eight years ago, but I don’t have to, because this is happening. Ethan Steifel will reprise the role; relief! I feel up to date again.

Plus, this is one of the better nonsensical-yet-triumphant final performance scenes from any teen movie ever. Please note the seductive seizure moves happening around 6:00.

Amazing. (For anyone out there who knows him - how much does Cooper Nielsen look like Nate Kempner!?) And I think every one of those blank faces deserved a brisk slap.

(Hey “‘coon” - remember when your kid sister totally made you watch this and you did so like a little bitch? Yeah, me too.)
