I think this about politics all the time. And so this well-voiced argument by Mike really caught my eye.
I (partially; uneasily) had been siding with Joe Nocera, but I think I was, to some extent, inflating the shareholder value concern. When it comes down to it I’m just an Apple fangirl!
I guess if you really trust Steve Jobs as a corporate leader, you ought to put some faith in his ability to find the best people and to craft a succession plan that would not leave the company in doomsday tatters (as many are handwringing).
