Goddamn it.  My eWorld account isn’t working today.

I never had a chance to hang out on eWorld but I did hang out with Kate Bakes on TalkCity. That’s where all the eWorld kids went after Apple abandoned them. Just like they abandonded iPhone users.

Oh man. I think my eWorld screen name was “SportsKate”. Typical. This is too much to handle for a Sunday night. That My Old Macintosh link is giving me that visceral sort of nostalgia that makes my body ache. I can still remember the way the lady’s “You’ve Got Mail” voice sounded. So melodious, so soothing. The exact opposite of AOL. Miss you, eWorld and PowerMac. Miss you every day.
