An article on Thursday about Randi Zuckerberg, a sister of Mark Zuckerberg, a founder of Facebook, referred imprecisely to the circumstances under which Mr. Zuckerberg declined to comment for the article. After the reporter told Ms. Zuckerberg that her brother had declined to be interviewed, Ms. Zuckerberg said she would e-mail him. But while a representative of Ms. Zuckerberg acknowledges that she did e-mail Mr. Zuckerberg to tell him about the article, the e-mail did not explicitly request that her brother agree to an interview.
