GM / (n+1 * NYM + VF) = 0

Much like the NYmag piece on Gawker and the n+1 piece before it, the VF “story” is 90% recap in an attempt to make an insular story interesting to a wider audience. This predictably fails, as this story isn’t interesting anymore even to those who saw it happen and/or were directly involved.

Exactly. It just drones on! If the story was published in the actual magazine, which I don’t believe it is, it’d be one of those ones that I lose interest in after the jump but flip through anyway just in hopes that it’s the one story where they do the collage of like 50 different photos in the back. I want to see old-style photographic evidence of this person who “wrote under the name ‘fek’”. In true VF style, he better be wearing short lil swim trunks on a dock somewhere or at the very least having a good ole guffaw at Annabel’s.
